Blea Tarn with a twist, my first trip to The lakes with my drone, after the sun had rised I packed my camera equipment away and was ready to leave. I suddenly remembered my drone. What a decision it was to send it up otherwise I would never have caught this wonderful symetrical shot of The Langdales perfectly reflecting in Blea Tarn.
The Lakes, my spiritual home, I can’t believe the first time I visited was only a few years ago. I instantly fell in love and now travel there as often as I can. The raw beauty of the lakes is timeless, with shimmering lakes and beautiful mountains which have inspired many poets, painters and of course photographers.
Stunning in any weather, it really is a world apart and thankfully only a couple of hours away.
