Taken on one of our walks exploring the peninsula during Covid, it was extremly windy, sand blowing in my face and with no specific subject this spot of wet sand caught my eye. I really like the swirls of sand that I used as natural leading lines to Hilbre Island and the moody sunset.

A little bit about the Wirral....

As it’s the place I live I often explore the common and not so common areas looking for inspiration to test my photography skills whilst making the most of the fabulous coastline and never-ending sunsets.

Wirral or The Wirral as named locally is a 15-mile-long peninsula in the Northwest of England. Bordered by the River Mersey, The River Dee, and the Irish Sea it offers plenty of coastline to explore with over 50 miles of beautiful rural walks. If you have never, been I would highly recommend a visit.

Why not take a piece of wall art for your home or office to enjoy the tranquillity that Wirral has to offer.

Don’t see anything you like? I do commissions and can visit areas to capture specific landscapes to meet your vision. Check out my commissions page for more information
